Lodge Awards and Letters of Appreciation $10,000 Impact Award from ENF On December 2, 2009. the Elks Nations Foundation awarded Staunton Lodge #351 a $10,000 Impact Grant to implement "Operation Get Bunked." Impact Grants are large, competitive grants intended to help Lodges address unmet needs in communities where Elks live and work. Impact Grants give our Lodge the opportunity to conceptualize, develop and implement a new project or to strengthen an existing one. "Operation Get Bunked" is a project which was created by the Community Activities Committee of Lodge #351. The project involves working with the Valley Mission to provide materials and labor for the construction and outfitting bunk beds with mattresses, pillows and bed clothes in order to improve the housing arrangements and increase capacity for those less fortunate (single people and families with children) who must use the Valley Mission as their temporary home. Andrew "Andy" Anderson Award 
Past Exalted Ruler G.R. Davis proudly holds the "2008-2009 Andy Award" which was presented to Staunton Lodge #351 during the October 2009 State Elks Convention in Virginia Beach. Lodge #351 has received this award for 17 consecutive years for consistently meeting requirements in increased membership, participation of youth in the Elks Hoop Shoot, contributions and participation to the Virginia Elks Youth Camp and meeting the per capita of members donation to the Elks National Foundation.
